Preparing for your Lash Appointment

Wondering what you need to do to prepare for your lash appointment? Don’t worry, in this article we cover all of the important stuff you need to know.

Come in with squeaky clean lashes and make-up free eyes.

Having clean lashes and makeup free eyes for your lash appointment is a must if you want long lasting retention. The cleaner the lashes, the better the adhesive will stick to your natural lashes. YES, we can wash your lashes at your appointment but in my experience, retention is always better if you don’t wear mascara before you come in to get your lashes done.

Remove contact lenses if you wear them.

I recommend this for your first appointment if you wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes.

Limit caffeine intake before your appointment.

Caffeine can cause your eyes to flutter and it will be harder for your artist to attach extensions to your natural lashes. If you can keep your eyes still during your appointment your lash extensions will look better and last longer.

Leave pets and children at home.

Love the kids and the pets! But it’s hard to do tedious microscopic work with kids or pets in the room.

Bring headphones to listen to a book on tape, music or podcast to listen to during your appointment if you desire.

It’s your time! You can choose to listen to music or take a quick lash nap.

Plan on laying down for 1 – 2 hours (depending on your service).

Plan eating, bathroom breaks and other plans accordingly. Please do not rush your Lash Artist, she is trying to get your lashes as full as possible.

Allow a minimum of 24 hours to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

There are usually clients waiting to get in for an appointment so please plan accordingly so that we may accommodate all of our clients.

Get EXCITED! You are about to get some AMAZING lashes! So plan yourself a date night or girls night!

You are going to look and feel like a rockstar so plan yourself a fun night out!
